Let there be light

Off to Tromso, Northern Norway in the morning in the hope of snapping the Aurora Borealis. Fingers crossed that we find the switch. 

French Alps

2014 got off to a good start with a trip to Villard Reculas in the French Alps. The plan had been to get snowy landscapes and skiers in action but the call of the slopes was almost too much and I spent far too long skiing and not enough time with my camera. On every trip I like to come back a little wiser and this trip was no exception, mainly my off piste skiing needs to be a lot better if I'm going to carry a camera on my back.
This shot is somewhere I stumbled across on my little adventures off the beaten track.
